This will be one of the more important shows that's gone spontaneously live on church news in the last three years, maybe the most important one in the last three years.

As a matter of fact, I'd forgotten what it's like to do a show this suddenly that is an article of current events. What has happened? It's a great

initiation for those of you who are kind of new to being back in the church. Is in July,

five cardinals, including two most important figures, Burke and Brandmuller, submitted dubia,

questions to the Holy Father for him to answer about the upcoming synod.

These are called dubium in the Roman Catholic tradition

because they are doubts that are raised by an action taken by the Holy Father himself.

By a doubt, we mean how can this action be taken by a pope who is constrained by inerrant scripture

and infallible tradition? The five dubia, which include five authors, one author per question,

reminds us of what happened during and after the family synods of 14 and 15, where five dubia were submitted by four or five cardinals then.

There's supposedly a fifth beetle. We only know of four of these Dubia Cardinals. I've talked about these Cardinals many, many times since the close of that second family synod in 2015. I talked about this much yesterday. Cardinals Burke and Brandmuller are the only two of four or five surviving dubia cardinals from the family synod.

The other two were Cardinal Meisner of Germany and Cardinal Kaffara of Italy, both of whom died waiting for Pope Francis to respond to their five dubia.

People have suspected either Cardinal Mueller or Cardinal Sarah of being the fifth original Dubia brother, as we were calling them in 2018,

2019.

Pope Francis chose never to respond to those five dubia.

All five of the questions for those who are uninitiated, who are new.

Maybe you've been talking a big game about Pope Francis doesn't make sure changes to unalterable teachings in the church.

He chose never to respond because of what ended up happening with those 2014-2015 synods.

He favored the materially heretical change, giving communion to the divorce and civilly remarried.

This phone is the worst, worst thing I've ever seen.

He favored the wrong outcome.

And he chose never to respond to his dubia positors.
