Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider presented by Fandul Inside TCO Performance Center, Matthew Collar, Dane Mizatani of the Pioneer.

We have just wrapped up talking with Justin Jefferson, Kevin O'Connell, and Rob Brzezinski about the start of the Vikings

offseason program here as well as the National Football League amateur draft.

So I would like to begin, Dane, with Justin Jefferson.

It's the first time we have heard from him this offseason.

And I think that, you know, it's a little bit too bad that Jefferson

is now in the age where he's done enough interviews, enough press conferences, hundreds and

hundreds of them that he can dance around what he thinks without ever really, you know,

telling us. And he's good at that. You know, when he was younger, there was like a raw Justin Jefferson

who would just sort of say what was on his mind. And now he's a veteran. He knows how to deal with a

quarterback situation such as this one. But I did find it interesting that he talked about working

out with J.J. McCarthy quite a bit here in Minnesota.

And then at the same time, talked about how exciting it is to have Kyler Murray, his unique

skill set, and kind of tossed it out there of like, well, I guess the best man will win the

quarterback competition. And he left it at that. But I think it's worth exploring a little bit of where J.J. McCarthy fits into all this.

Then we'll get into what Rob Brzezinski had to say about the draft and all that,

about where he fits in into OTAs, into mini camp, and the lead-up to training camp.

And I think that from Kevin O'Connell's perspective,

he doesn't have to show his hand really at all in those phases. But I think it also says,

too, it's not like this organization has said, JJ, whom? We've never heard of him. We got this new

quarterback, Kyler Murray. I think that

JJ McCarthy will be given every opportunity to develop and show where he's at. I think we know it's
