conflicted i was thinking today we would do a first round mock draft just for fun because i

just kind of felt like it there's a problem though and the problem is that um the packers did

make two official hires and i want to take the appropriate amount of time

to go through that and look at those two new coaches. I'm very excited about both of them.

So what I think we're going to do instead as sort of a part two and to fulfill my obligation

for doing the NFL draft stuff, we're going to do a Packers mock because that'll be faster. Probably be more interesting for you anyways, but I do want to do semi-regular mock drafts. I don't know if we're going to do, you know, once a week first round, once a week seven round for the Packers. I don't really know, but I want to make sure that we do that just to, again,

stick with the draft stuff. Also, I just, I think it's fun. It's fun to do. I don't do a ton of mock drafts myself. I'd rather just look at the prospects, but it's, it can put a lot of things into perspective in terms of the depth of certain positions, and it's also just a good way to make sure that you're looking through prospects and whatnot.

So, again, we'll save the first round.

But anyways, why don't we take a look at these coaches?

First of all, we'll start with the quarterback coach.

Sean Mannion did end up getting hired.

I had mentioned a while ago that he was sort of the forgotten prospect. There were a couple names that were being thrown around as potential quarterback coaches, and Mannion largely wasn't one of them.

But I had mentioned he is a, the story that I heard heard,

especially coming out of Minnesota, is that he is, he is a real smart, real fast up-and-comer.

And, you know, again, Minnesota really wanted to keep him because they knew he was going to be a coach.

They knew he was going to end up being a quarterback coach and who knows what beyond that offensive coordinator or whatever.
