Thanks so much for having me. I'm happy to be here. So we've been watching over the past several months as the Trump administration has done this blitz of spending cuts across the federal

government. But it's been really hard to parse exactly what was being axed,

because all of this has been really fast and furious.

And you and a team of reporters spent months looking into a very specific set of cuts.

Take me through that work.

Well, I'm a science reporter,
