And of course, I have stories throughout the season. You know that. Anyways, today is final

cutdown day, and it was a little bit what you expected, right? I don't know that there were any

great, great surprises, but a couple things really stood out.

First of all, just some technical stuff to get rid of here first.

The waiver wire, they have the number two pick, or they're number two in the order for the waiver claims.

That stays true throughout. It's not they can pick as many people as they want if they're there at number two, you have to turn those in. I think the claims are due by noon tomorrow and then starting after

that. They'll probably be with shortly after that. You'll start to hear because once you claim

somebody, you've got to cut somebody. So you need to be able to let them know that you're going to

cut them, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So it takes a little bit to do that.

That's why these guys have been very, very clear at saying this is the initial 53-man

roster.

I can't tell you how many times over the last week or so that I've heard that they just,

this is the initial one.

And because of the number two spot in the order of the waiver claims, they know they're going to be active.
