Just too much stuff.

Between various award shows and the start of Sundance and the fact that television hasn't

really slowed down for the month of January, a little bit exhausted, and yet I was not the one yawning up a storm before we started recording. So we'll see who falls asleep mid-podcast first. My hunch is you. Yeah, sorry. It's just cold in L.A. And I mean, okay, it's L.A. cold. Okay, I'm not going to complain because our wonderful new producer, Aaron, is in what state, Aaron? Where are you? There's snow. That's all I know. Wisconsin, the land of beer and cheese. Oh, my goodness. No. All that cold, though. But it's cold here for me, though. Also, I think it's 65 to 70 degrees out right now. I was just out on my balcony watering stuff and it was warm.

So I think you may just have cold air stored in your house. That would be my guess.

Absolutely. And your dog is desperately trying to get outside where it's warm. So just going to say,

yeah, yeah. Well, Hurley does enjoy barking at the trash trucks as they pass by, and that's what just happens.

And who can blamer? Yes. Let's get to business, because there's a lot of business.

Yeah. So we're going to start with headlines, as we usually do. So here we go.

Number one. CBS is near a deal for a spinoff of young Sheldon revolving around, no, not Sheldon, but Montana, Jordan, and

Emily Osmet's characters George and Mandy.

Once deals closed, CBS would order the comedy straight to series, which would keep Chuck

Lori on broadcast after the conclusions this year of both Young Sheldon and Bob Hart's Epichola.

This Young Sheldon spinoff is not to be confused with the Young Jethro spinoff from NCIS that we

discussed on last week's podcast.

So young, sort of like older Georgie, older Mandy.

I don't know what they're going to call this thing.

Yeah.

I don't know, but whatever.
