As we are looking back on a pretty eventful week one here, boys.

Buck, I want to start with you first as we're going to go through a bunch of these games. But before we get to the specifics of the games, we're at piggyback on this. Big picture takeaway. As by the way, you see my shirt? I'm trying to stay positive, Buck. So let's keep the theme here. We're just as positive as we can, but what should you take away? The preseason is a liar when it comes to the rookie quarterbacks, as ready as we think young

quarterbacks are.

When you get to the regular season, it is night and day from the preseason.

And so we learned a lot about our young quarterbacks going through their first game struggles.

Yeah, I think there's still, you know, week one.

I think you could kind of say that same thing, Bucky.

Like for some teams, we're going to see some major growth here in week two. I mean, I remember watching the Jim Harbaugh post game, right? When they broke it down, DJ, after getting that win over the Raiders, you know, biggest growth, week one to week two. So how much is going to change from what we saw here this weekend, I think is one of

the biggest things that will be kind of focused on here as well. And then overall other takeaway is

Panther still have a lot of work to do. I don't think we're. Yeah, we'll get there. We'll get there.

My takeaway is, Buck, I'm with you on kind of the preseason. I think that was reflected in some of the tackling going through the tape this morning. I felt like it was a lot of mistackles. That's really the way it's been for the last few years. You're going to get into the regular season a little bit. Let's wait a couple weeks. It'll get better. A little improve. But that was one takeaway. The other one was, and we'll get into these games. But there's, I had this like, like Jeff Fisher thought. Don't ask me why. But like a Jeff Fisher, Marty Schottenheimer thought of, you know, everything cyclical in this league. And there's still an old school, like those old Titans teams. Think about the Marty Schottenheimer teams book you played on one of those there's like

this you know be physical don't screw up short in the game save your

defense like there's still one of those formulas it's it still works like all

these years later with all the high you I just watch watch every

snap of that Steelers Falcons game I did I watched that game there game. There was the Charger game. There was that game. There was even the Bears, like the Bears defense and special teams. Like there was kind of like that old school kind of grittiness, kind of find your way to the finish line that kind of juxtapose this high flying league that I feel like we'd become lately. So those old school names, Buck, those are the ones that crept into my mind. No, it's funny because having played for Marty Schadenheimer, he would always tell you, more games are lost than one. If you run the ball, play good defense and find a way to dominate special teams, you're going to win more games than you lose. I think it's a terrific regular season formula. You need a little more to go from like a regular season champion to a postseason champion.

But it absolutely can take you to 10, 11, 12 games if you subscribe to that theory.
