But today is a sad day because I know that many of you all are still processing the

death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we should be.

She was an icon and more importantly, even more importantly, she was our last line of defense on the

court on so many issues from women's rights to reproductive rights to affirmative

action. Now I'm always somebody who's honest on this show and I won't sugarcoat things. The next few months are going to be hell.

President Trump likely will appoint someone,

likely Amy Coney Barrett or Barbara Lagoa or Allison Jones rushing.

He was going to make that nomination within the next week or so.

And hearings will start this fall. We all need to know that. And there's a good chance,

a likelihood that will be confirmed during a lame duck session

between the election in November and the end of the year. So we got to be honest about that because at the end of the day

we need to focus on winning in November. I'm so sick and

tired of Democrats bedwetting and talking about what we need to do with the courts

come January because if we're honest, making November about elections plays into the hands of
