Welcome to the state of recruiting, your weekly Orange 24-7 recruiting podcast. I'm Mike Roach,

0:08.0

and I'm joined as always by Nick Harris, and we are back for, I would say, a pretty big week in Texas recruiting.

0:14.3

We're going to break all those things down. Have a couple of great interviews for you and answer your questions at the end of the show.

0:19.9

But before we get into all that, Nick, how's it pretty good had an eventful week i'm excited to get into

0:25.3

the stay-at-home order uh is going to expire tonight at midnight at midnight for the state of

0:31.6

texas which is feels kind of weird but um what are your thoughts on? Are you going to head out tomorrow and live life

0:40.0

or what? You know, I'm kind of hesitant, but, you know, I may try to dive in, like, very smoothly,

0:47.2

you know, maybe make a Walmart trip tomorrow and then maybe two Walmart trips on Saturday.

0:51.4

We'll see how it goes. That feels like a lot of Walmart for one week.

0:55.7

1:02.7

last Sunday with Landon King, the Ataskacita tight end. This was one where Nick, you were kind of

1:09.1

all over the story. But this is a guy that I feel good about because I feel like every time I've been asked, who's the next Texas commit?

1:17.7

I pointed to landing king.

1:19.7

So he made me look very smart there when I actually kind of originally maybe thought he would hold out a little longer.

1:26.7

But Texas lands a need i think

1:29.2

as a guy who can stretch the field at tight end six and five two ten uh still growing still developing

1:34.9

nick just kind of give me your thoughts on on what you've seen from king in his game and maybe

1:39.8

you know some of the things he told you when you were able to speak with him uh he's a fantastic tight end. I met him for the first time in Houston. It was like that last

1:47.8

event before the shutdown. And from what I can tell, he's a solid kid. And from a playing

1:53.0

perspective, he can kind of do it all for a Tasca Cicita. He's really lethal in the past

1:57.4

catching game. But he can also, you you know put three fingers down and make some

2:00.8

blocks uh as well for running plays uh i'm excited for king and i think he's going to be super versatile
