Welcome to the Hockey PEDEOCast. My name is Ditra Filipovich and joining me, as always, seemingly, because we're doing this every week now. I just love having this man on to break games down. We watched the previous night. My good buddy, Steve Peters, PD, what's going on, man?

I had just trying to get through all of these games again. And now I think, I know, we,ri, I get it. We're not even 10 games into the season. But I do start to think we're seeing some trends now in some of these teams. And I think today's slate of games is a good example of that. Some teams head in the right direction. Some teams maybe not. Yeah, there's some promising signs signs some alarming ones we're going to get into

going into next week against the Colorado

Avalanche a team that we're going to talk about in one of the other games later on, because I think it's going to be a fascinating test for the way they're playing right now. I think they're in the process of stacking together one strong showing after another right now. They've won five in a row after starting the year with a loss in Carolina, which I'm not going to hold against them.

1:47.4

They've outplayed one playoff team after another, essentially, right?

1:51.3

They beat Toronto most recently here, which we're going to talk about, 5-2 on the road.

1:55.8

That adds them to a list that includes Edmonton previously, Florida, Tampa Bay.

2:02.7

The Columbus game to my eye was really the only one where they probably didn't deserve to win and Jake Allen kind of carry them early

2:07.3

on against the Blue Jackets offensive onslaught. But otherwise, they've been the better team in all

2:12.8

these games. And so when you factor in quality of competition, the schedule, and the way they've been playing in these games beyond just the wins, I think it's a very encouraging stretch of games for the Devils here.

2:24.6

I tell you what, this team is an exciting team to watch.
