here buddy off the top Tom Brady announces Tuesday morning that he will be

leaving the New England Patriots after a 20-year

run. I have been bullish on this for weeks saying I just can't imagine him leaving.

For me it was more about Robert Kraft not letting him and then secondarily where was he going to go

that was as good of a fit to win right away.

Ian Rappaport is saying the Chargers and Buccaneers are the front runners. We've heard this, I feel like, for three months,

but there could be others who get involved here.

But Brady is officially leaving the Colts.

Or excuse me, leaving the Patriots.

Leaving the Patriots. It's so much news coming in. I saw that and we'll get to it, but Matt had a report today that, you know, Philip Rivers and the cults are all but done, so I'm sure that's on your mind as well. But let's start with Brady here. I'm surprised as well. I agreed with you on

this podcast that it felt like New England was the favorite. They obviously were for a long time.

Robert Kraft has come out and publicly said it. He's like, this is not how I wanted this to end.

So I think there was a different kind of relationship there between the owner and Brady compared to Brady and Bill.

I'm curious, Matt, as the details trickle in how much of this was Bill.

As we do follow some of these details it almost seems like there wasn't a ton of communication

between these two sides leading up to free agency and maybe it was, you know, a leverage
