Today, a dive into bedroom pop, a genre where young Latinx artists are breaking you ground

and reclaiming their place in the music industry.

Even if you haven't heard of the term bedroom pop, you'd probably recognize the music in

this genre pretty quickly.

Bedroom pop music is dreamy and nostalgic, often acoustic with minimal production.

It's not meant to sound like a massive studio production.

In fact, bedroom pop got its name because of its origins.

Sometimes this music is produced by independent artists from their actual homes and their

bedrooms.
