Alexa, you are heading to Phoenix for this weekend's W-N-B-A All-All-Star game.

And first of all, let me just say Phoenix in July, that's a great idea.

I know that, you know, the schedule doesn't permit them to play their, you know, these all-star games in the middle of the winter, but Arizona and Nevada in the middle of the summer?

Is this some kind of a cruel joke? Yeah, you know, it beats me. I think this is the one where I will probably sweat the most. I'm sure that's a lovely image for our listeners to to think of, but you know, I just want to say last year in Vegas. You can just stay inside the whole time and not go outside but it is much harder to do

that in Phoenix I presume so we'll see how I survived that.

So beyond you know the lovely climate what are you looking forward to most?

I'm looking forward to saying how all of the excitement and energy that has been so prevalent in the

WBA this season really translates into what's always the most fun of weekend of the year. It's always one where there's energy and excitement,

but we know that this is a moment in women's

basketball that is going to change the trajectory of the league forever. And this is just

a fun weekend where we get to see all that come to together really we have to see two of the

rookies that have helped change the trajectory of the sport on the same team

and Clark penetrating opens up three for three with a quick seven points.

I'm sure that's going to be on everyone's radar and everyone's attention.

Angel East snatches it out of the air, puts her back, body bucket have won.

We're going to get to see Deiancé's competing against each other.

We're going to see a little bit of everything, and personally, very excited to see pit bull at the halftime show but that's

that's a minor footnote to the broader basketball picture that we have going on in Phoenix.

It's almost impossible to overstate how much things have been transformed this season in terms of attention,

attendance, ratings, all of that stuff, right?
