This is really good news. Hamas is, according to sources, going to release two American hostages.

Obviously, we still have a long way to go, but I'm happy that two Americans are going to be

able to come home. We were just talking about the situation with the speaker of the house.

In case you didn't see it, Jim Jordan lost the third vote.

Now, to be fair, it took Kevin McCarthy 15 rounds, so maybe it just will take a couple of more,

but it doesn't look like we're any closer than where we were a few weeks ago.

I was just discussing this with callers, and I basically explained to people that I would

rather win with someone who's not perfect than have Haking Jeffries or have Democrats win

and be able to call the shots. They already have control of the Senate.

I don't want to risk it. A caller was basically making the point that, at least,

if we elect Democrats or if we let Democrats win, then they prove our point, and then people

have to see how bad they are. I used to feel like that when I was little. I remember when I was

young, I used to think, well, if the Democrats win, and then we'll be right about how terrible

they are, and everyone will see that we were right, but at what cost? At what cost?
