The market jumped, oil prices tanked.

Now we're learning that they are not actually close to a deal after all.

Once again, Barack Ravid and Axios are actively helping the president and those around him

this. Because here's what we saw this morning. This is what came out of Axios. The White House

believes it's getting closer to an agreement with Iran on a one-page memorandum of understanding to end the war and set a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations.

The big picture? Well, the United States expects Iranian responses on several key points in the next 48 hours.

Nothing has agreed yet, but the sources say that the closest path to an agreement since the war began,

provisions would include a deal that would involve Iran committing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment,

the U.S. agreeing to lift its sanctions and release billions of dollars in frozen Iranian funds,

and both sides lifting restrictions regarding the Strait of Ormuz.

Many of the terms laid down in memo would be contingent on a final warning,
