Let me just kind of give you a snapshot of what it looked like for me to stand up here today.

Okay, so Pastor Craig called me and he's like,

hey, I'd love for you to preach a message.

I was like, man, thank you so much.

And he said, here's like three topics, okay?

Three possible topics.

Put them in order of the one that you want to preach the most.

Like put that as number one and then put them the rest under that.

So I was like, okay, cool.

And then he said, I can't guarantee that you're actually going to get to preach your top

choice, but just put them in order.

So I was like, all right, so I try to play a little game.

And I was like, I'm going to put the one that I don't want to preach at number one.

Let me give you just a screenshot of my text message conversation with Pastor Craig.

Here were the topics and these were all like the ones that I wanted to preach about.

I really wanted to preach on a bandend, but then he came and said, yeah, go ahead and

preach on anger.

Guess what I'm preaching on today?

Anger, right?

It's not what I wanted to.

When he said that to me, I got a little angry, honestly, because it's something that

actually God's been working on in me.
