2:02.0 | The way your life is now is not the way that it has to be. And the reason why is because you are in control of your life. And it's hard to think outside of the box when you've been in the box your entire life. |
2:14.0 | But you don't have to always work for somebody. Your paycheck doesn't have to come from somebody else. That's what I want you to realize. |
2:23.0 | We're brought up thinking that you go to school, you do this stuff you're supposed to, you go to college, you graduate, you get a good job that's paying 40, $45,000 a year straight out of college, and you work your way up the corporate ladder. |
2:36.0 | And for some reason, that's been taught to us. And I don't understand the reason why that is society has not always been that way. Actually for the majority of the time that society's been around, it hasn't been that way at all. |
2:48.0 | Where you just show up, you clock in, you do all of the work for some big machine, you clock out and then you go home and you're so tired that you can't do anything after work and you can't enjoy your life. |
2:58.0 | Because what happens outside of work is your life. And if work is draining you so much that you can enjoy your life, then your work is absolutely pointless because you're wasting it. |
3:09.0 | See, most of the times the humans have existed. It was based off of a bartering system. You give me some corn, I'll give you some fruit. That's how humans got by. And it was that you contributed to society more than anything else. |
