Okay, so we recorded this entire episode Wednesday night, and then, of course, first thing,

Thursday morning, Paige makes the announcement that she's leaving Summer House.

So we just felt like we needed to come on here and debrief it for a second.

I'm sure you have all seen the story, but let me just quickly read it.

I have a little life update for you. I made the decision not to return to Summer House. Being part of the show has been one of the

most rewarding chapters of my life, the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable.

You've seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories,

the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me.

But like all good things, and some bad decisions, it's time for this chapter to close.

To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family, thank you.

I never could have imagined what this journey would turn into and how many of you would be along for the ride.

And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise.

So much more to do together. But for now, you know,

you can always find me and Daphne in my bed. So sad. In this episode, which you guys will hear,

we had a whole conversation hypothesizing about if she's going to come back. And I know we both

said we would be shocked if she did. So it's not that it's surprising. I guess we were kind of waiting for this to come out, but it's still as sad.

No, and everything we say in this episode still holds so true is pretty much what I would say

now with the announcement of what we think she's going to do and why it's the right decision.

But like, it doesn't hurt any less. Also, I think in my mind, I thought, this season would die down, the talk about it.

The finale was last night of the reunion.

They'd let it sit.
