It's one of the boldest things I've seen in recent American public life.

The American College of Pediatricians has issued the doctors' protecting children

declaration, and in it, they have called for an immediate stop

to the use of puberty blockers and the embrace of gender ideology that is harming children.

It's a delight to be talking about this today because so often as a Christian in today's culture, you feel like the wind is in your face and all the trends are against you.

But that is not the case.

That's not true.

That's not how things actually are going.

There are a lot of good developments taking place,

according to God's common grace in our world. And this recent declaration by the American

College of Pediatricians is one example of those good developments. And what follows, I want to play

a short clip that gives you a chance to hear from one of the key doctors involved in this effort.

And this is a very bold statement that you're going to hear.

It's unusual to hear people on the right, on the conservative side of things or even just the

traditional side of things, talk so clearly, but also calmly with balance.

And yet this is just what we heard, a strong call to reject gender ideology today.

We have serious concerns about the physical and mental health effects of the current

protocols promoted for the care of children and adolescents in the United States who expressed

discomfort with their biological sex.
