This coming from the Guardian FBI director, very concerned by reports of secret Chinese police stations in the U.S. Christopher Ray says the FBI is investigating the existence of stations in New York, which could violate sovereignty.

We've actually had this discussion before.

A while back we talked about that there was these, uh, people were kind of making

claims that there were the secret kind of like Chinese police stations, just around and about,

you know what I mean? Yeah. And these, uh, these buildings and what are they doing? Why they

hear? I mean, it seems kind of odd that, you know, they'd have a police station, uh, ran by the

Chinese government. That is odd. So the United States is deeply concerned.

Obviously not enough to get right back to, though,

because later on this article it says that they were asked about comments

and they didn't have anything to say about it.

They're deeply concerned about the Chinese government

setting up an unauthorized, quote,

police station in the U.S. cities to possibly pursue influence operations,

says director Christopher Ray.

Quote here, I'm very concerned about this. We are aware of the existence of these stations.

Raids hold a U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing,

acknowledging the FBI's investigative work on the issue, but declining to get details,

probably because they can't.

They don't want to. You don't want to upset the Father China.

But to me, it's outrageous to think that the Chinese police would be attempting to set up shop,

you know, in New York, let's say, without proper coordination.

I don't even know why you need coordination.
