hello boys and girls welcome to another edition of the business of sports with andrew brand and it is a

busy time in the business of sports especially the primary sport that I cover in the NFL. Wow, we are in it now.

I've talked about this before. My busiest times in my career have been always at this time,

whether in Chapter 1 of my career as an agent, whether Chapter 2 is a team executive in Chapter 3

in the business of football as an analyst, media personality.

It's always the busiest right now, especially in the NFL as we approach the new league year.

And what that means is on March 17th at 4 p.m., it's happy new year in the NFL.

It's a new league year, meaning the cap takes into effect, and we'll be

talking about the cap and the new cap number that came out today. Trades can happen, even though,

as you know, they've happened. Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford, Carson Wentz, all these people

have been traded allegedly, but it'll become official on March 17th. Then of course, free agency begins.

But before free agency, we're going to have all these cuts and everything else, and I'll talk about that.

So much to get to, I will get to it all.

I think we'll start the business of sports, branch, rants, business addition, heading into the NFL New League

year with a contract that caught everyone's attention that people have been talking about

when it's going to happen for two years. It happened. The Cowboys have secured the services

of Dak Prescott for four years. And I think there's the first point that I want to get to
