Brian is an entrepreneur and investor. He's the founder of OS Fund and Brain Tree,

which was bought by eBay in 2013. He launched OS Fund with a hundred million of his personal

capital to support inventors and scientists who aimed to benefit humanity by rewriting the

operating systems of life. Brian, take a quick minute. Fill in some gaps from that intro and give

us just a little glimpse in your personal life. Yes, I guess this all started when I was 21. I just

returned from living in Ecuador for two years with people living in extreme poverty. I came back

to the States with this burning desire that I wanted to spend my life trying to improve the

lives of others. I didn't really know what that meant at the time. I looked around at the

option you find on a college campus and I just didn't definitely start to score with me.

I thought, you know what I'll do? I'll become an entrepreneur. I'll build a successful business.

I'll retire by the age of 30. Then with abundance of time and energy, resources, I'll go out and

find a way to better the world. That set me off on a 15-year journey to an entrepreneur building
