So I apologize for the gruffiness, the depth, the graveliness of my voice.

But I don't think it's going to be a bad cold.

So I think it's on its way out.

So before I introduce the show, what we're talking about, why don't you talk about what we just

woke up to in the news this morning? Okay. So it kind of, what we heard about this morning in

Vegas is, I guess, somehow roundabout connected to what we were going to talk about today

because we're talking about

continuing to discuss civility and braving the wilderness and how we can be better to each other.

And then, you know, you wake up in your hear news like this and it's a little overwhelming

because you're, you know, I always kind of lose my bearings.
