Episode one of brain science was released on December 5th 2006, which means that for the last 10 years I have been exploring how recent discoveries in neuroscience are helping unravel the mystery of how our

So today is the special 10th anniversary episode and as many of you know my life has become more complicated over the last year and a half,

especially since my husband Dennis died unexpectedly last summer.

I'm now juggling two palliative medicine jobs, which is really restricting the time I have

to devote to brain science. That's one reason why I've decided to break the 10th anniversary

Today I'm going to focus on the first five years of the show,

which was essentially from 2007 through 2011.
