music now, so we've had a few episodes this week and that's just because we keep

getting exclusive interviews. When Bradley Noel, the lead singer of Sublime, died at

age 28 in May of 1996, he left behind his band and he also left behind a one-year-old son named

Jacob. As it happens, Jacob Noel is now 28 years old himself. And beginning at this

year's Coachella Festival, Jacob is taking over as lead singer of the Revive Sublime,

with original drummer Bud Gao returning along with bassist Eric Wilson.

Wilson played for years in the spin-off group Sublime with Rome, which Gao was also part of very briefly at the very beginning.

Now, Sublime is as back as it possibly could be under the circumstances.

Today I have the first interviews with Jacob Noel and Bud Gao, who explain why Sublime is back
