Stockholders in Viacom and CBS were terrified to hear that Sumner Redstone was dumping a sizable number of shares in both companies to pay off debts for their parent company.

National Amusements was forced earlier this month to dump $233 million worth of stock it had used as collateral in a bank loan. A deep drop in NAI's stock had caused the bank to call in its loan.
