and you better buckle up because we have got a lot of money-power politics to get to this evening.

Let's start with markets, where investors are getting a little more impeachment waiting around for some good news on the trade war.

Well, the S&P snapped its winning streak. The Dow and

Nasdaq also finished the day down. Those losses could also be linked to Trump opening up a new

front in his trade war, the Megaplex movie theater. seemingly out of nowhere, Donald Trump announced

he wants to put tariffs on movies that are not made in the United States. And while it's been

24 hours since he made this announcement, we have no idea how it would even work. But we have learned

that actor in longtime Trump ally John Voight is directly involved in the push to, quote, make Hollywood

great again. But here's the thing. A 100% tariff on imported movies would do pretty much

nothing to bring movies back. Do you know why that is? Because they never left. We are massively

dominant in terms of movie making and distribution. But what it does do is welcome retaliation.
