know exactly what episode we're talking about now that wasn't my line and it wasn't your line

and it was probably the line of the one who would be the most unlikely to actually say it, Marsha.

But I'm ugly, ugly, ugly, and it comes up more than once.

I didn't realize that she had a, she had a quote there, you know, like to balance, you

know, Jan's Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, you know.

Yeah, well, no one's going to top pork choms and apple shards.

I don't know, but ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly, it's perfect.

Ugly, ugly.

No one ever picked up on that one.

Who's to say, you know, what's going to cause something to just, you know, be remembered forever?

I think because maybe it was out of character for Marcia to be ugly, to think of herself as ugly, because she represents poor America, sweetness and beauty.

Well, she's still quite young, like 12, and we're still in season one here toward the end of season one.

So was there a drive back then to get your young women married off early or something?

I mean, this whole episode is like everybody getting behind her having a boyfriend, you know, and not getting messed up.

I don't think it was about getting married particularly.

But preparing.

Yeah, I think it was just, you know, I think this is probably 12, 13 is where most

kind of boys and girls and they start feeling attraction for one another or wanting to, you know,

make the appearances or, you know, because schools start having their dances and their social
