Welcome to the Breakpoint podcast and our Q&A segment Ask the Colson Center. I'm Shane Morris, host of the upstream podcast and one of the writers for Breakpoint. And I'm joined today by John Stone Street, president of the Colson Center and the voice of Breakpoint. Today we are answering your questions. These were sparked by Breakpoint commentaries, shortes, and the Colson Fellows program.

John, the questions this week include a few that are responses to previous Q&A podcast, which

0:34.8

is super encouraging to me because it reminds me that, you know, people are

0:37.9

actually listening and are interacting on a continuing basis with some of the answers we give here,

0:43.5

which is encouraging on the one hand and a little scary on the other because a lot of these answers

1:16.4

bottle but we hear i've got on my desk right now three letters from folks i'm going to share with the

1:21.8

the larger team here in a little bit just really amazing and encouraging and even the ones that push

1:27.4

back which are a lot of fun

1:28.9

1:34.8

previous Q&A podcast. I think the last one, actually, this person writes in, in a recent Q&A

1:39.7

podcast, John said he'd love to hear more from folks why blame is put at the feet of Christians. You were

1:46.4

talking about climate change, but I wanted to stretch that a little bit because I've got a broader

1:50.2

question. I have a hard time understanding why some blame the church instead of Christians on

1:55.2

issues, specifically things like moral failings. This may expand to include slavery, sexual abuse, preaching against
