I hope everyone's summer is moving along splendidly.

I hope that for those of you who celebrated Independence Day yesterday if you're

listening to this on Thursday the 5th that it was very pleasant safe and

enjoyable for you I've been having a lot of conversations about just people feeling like

they're in a place where they're not so keen to celebrate being American right now and

and I felt very inspired by a conversation about, you know, being reminded that being patriotic

can also mean being incredibly disappointed and unhappy with the way things are going as much as

it can be about anything else.

So that's kind of something I've been holding on to this 4th of July. yeah so that's just something you think about.

Shout-wise I did want to throw out I think I have not gotten to these

shout-outs yet because of course I've been so busy with the show and shooting that I've missed weeks and so forth

so I think maybe I still O Paula, Kaylee and Liz some hello's and how do you do's and thank you for your emails ziz and I will

hopefully talk to you guys very soon I'm planning on getting right back on track I

feel very optimistic about having additional boys of summer throughout the rest of the summer.

So now that I've said that, I'm sure something will go horribly wrong, but no, you know what?

We're not going to think that way.
