Let us tell you about our COVID testing experience. That was fun. It certainly was.

We got off an airplane as you may recall from our last episode. And being the responsible adults that we are,

we thought we would go and get a COVID test before we exposed other people in our lives to us,

which is really a good plan whether there's a pandemic or not.

We did some research and the place that was doing same-day tests with same-day results

before we left for our trip was no longer offering that.

Right, and we needed to get the results that day.

We did a bunch of research and some places were offering same-day results,

but we couldn't get appointments for like three days.

Which is kind of counterproductive. Some places we couldn't get appointments for like three days.

And some places we could get appointments that day but wouldn't get the results for three days.

Right, did I already say that? It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter. Anyway, the fastest results slash appointment situation that we found was

we could get an appointment at a wall, Greens, for the next morning that would offer same-day results.

Unfortunately, it was pretty much in Canada. It's a border town called Callis, Maine.

And it's about two-two-and-a-half hour drive from where we are.

And it is. It's right on the Canadian border.

There's like 20 feet separating Callis and St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
