Children are awesome, but having kids at home (particularly young ones) can have some not-so-awesome effects on a marriage. 0:04.8	that's a hard thing to navigate because I feel like all of kids is just boundary setting.
0:09.2	Like all of parenting is boundary setting. But what about the times when we're setting boundaries
0:15.2	from our kids to protect our marriage to make sure that we are in a place of health?
0:21.6	What does that look like? Because oftentimes it can be skewed of like, give me the me time or
0:27.4	my kids are annoying, get them away so we can have our time and what should inform those decisions
0:32.8	and attitudes? Yeah, if we're not careful, our kids can suck the life right out of our marriage
0:37.6	and in a really kind of covert way. They don't need to. They do it all the time.
0:42.4	And that's on the parents too because you've heard of people who once their kids leave to go to
0:47.4	college or whatever, they're left with like, well now we don't have a relationship anymore because
0:51.5	our whole life revolved around our kids. Right, boundaries are good. Boundaries are really good.
0:56.8	We love kids. Kids are a blessing from God. However, they do have to be bounded.
