A little bit about the band, they were, quote, inspired by chain gang blues, murder ballads, bootleg whiskey and slavesong howls.

And they began as a led belly spirit revival band at Wesleyan University.

Soon they were writing original songs and they became a basement party sensation, with a unique brand of whiskey that they would sell and bottle all by themselves.
