Celtics are right there. If they beat the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow. And so to do that, let's talk to Tom Westerholm at Tom underscore NBA friend.

Oh, mine Boston.com June time podcast. What's going on Tom? What up? What up? So how you feeling about the squad after a now a fifth, fifth win in a row?

Uh, beating up on the, you know, tomato cans, the box car willies of the NBA. Uh, but one point I made yesterday and people love to discount like, oh, this, the Celtics just beating up on the bad teams as if the teams ahead of the Celtics haven't also played and beaten these bad teams.

Like this is kind of how it goes. You play the schedule and they beaten these bad teams. And that's how they got a lead.

Celtics are finally starting to play these teams and now they're catching up a little bit.

Well, yeah. And as if the Celtics weren't losing games like this early on in the season two, right? Like they were, they lost plenty of these games where everybody was like despairing about them.

And I think too, I would be willing to discount it if it was one loss, right? Or if it was one win, right? Or if it was, you know, they won two out of three against bad teams.

At this point, they've won seven out of eight. They've won five in a row. Like they have turned some kind of a corner. Now I don't know like how serious, I don't know how serious that corner is. Like I don't, and we'll start to get answers to that, you know, presumably when they, you know, when the competition picks back up, I was going to, you know, I don't want to say Brooklyn because obviously Brooklyn's pretty banged up. But like once, you know, once the schedule ramps up again a little bit, I think we'll start to actually see like how good this team is and, you know, whether this is like, whether this is quote unquote real.
