Hello and welcome to the Game Theory podcast offseason preview series where Bryce Simon and I

break down all 30 NBA teams heading into the 2026 off season. Today we're going to break down

the Boston Celtics coming off of a disappointing end of their season, a first round loss

to the Philadelphia 76ers after a three one series lead.

Bryce, I'll be honest with you.

Like, I don't see a whole lot of reason for panic here.

This was a year that was not expected to go as well as it did for Boston.

I feel there's a lot of outside chatter about like,

should they break up Jalen and Jason? Should they trade Derek White? Should they do this?

Should they do that? This team won 56 games this year only getting, you know,

what do we want to call it? 16 games from Jason Tatum where maybe five of them,

maybe none of them were fully healthy,

right?

I feel like this is probably going to be one of our easier offseason previews

for the most part.

Yeah,

I feel very similar.

I think this is still a very talented team.

You have one of the best players in the Eastern Conference and another player that's like

probably not in the best player in the Eastern Conference conversation, but he's like right

in the tier below that.

And so, you know, Jason Tatum gives now gets a full off season to not, he doesn't have to recover.
