Hey, everybody. It's Tyler with the Western Wing Shooter podcast. I got George down there in Cape Canaveral or something Kennedy Space Center down in Florida. Brandon from Boss over, I'm assuming probably at the Boss factory. Me and Wes are here in North Dakota. And we're going to talk a lot about Boss shot shells today.

So I figured with all the all the new stuff that's come out and like all the stuff that's gone on with Boss here in the last year, getting it straight from the horse's mouth from the

mad scientist, Brandon would be the best way to go about everything. So thanks a lot, Brandon,

for taking some time today. Are you done testing all this stuff or like, I guess, what, what are you up to right now?

Right now, well, after I get done talking to you guys, I, no, I'm still testing.

Of course, yeah.

One of the things Steve and I talk about at the shop that is kind of funny is,

we know that whenever we make a new product, it winds up in the hands of some of the big

manufacturers, like within days.

Right.

And we don't test or benchmark other competitors products. And I haven't done,

I don't think I have, the last time we did that was in 2019. Right. So it's kind of like we,

we chase ourselves is where I'm going at with us. So right now, we're with Kuprox.

We're, you know, at about an 83 to 85% pattern with the higher velocity stuff at 40 yards.

And I want to get that into the 90s.

So just this morning of breakfast. Yeah, Steve's like, well, Brandon, where are we going with this? Where do you want to get that into the 90s. So just this morning breakfast.

Yeah, Steve's like, well, Brandon, where are we going with this? Where do you want to see this? I said, I want to be in the 90s. Right. I was like, all right. So we've got more work to do. But again, like when people are satisfied with the product, I never am. And I'm just pushing it further and further and further. and it's not that I'm trying to make this stuff pattern, you know, like a like a rifle. Yeah, no, but I want to be able to. If guys want to be able to shoot tight and hold a pattern together at long range, it's, it's way easier to get a pattern to open up and spread with a choke and it is to get something that won't pattern worth of shit to tighten up.

Right.

So I want to have this stuff like out of the box, ready to roll.

And, you know, there's been, I think since we started copper last fall, we've probably gone through, well, continues improvement cycle that, you know, the stuff that we
