Hey everybody it is the ninth of November so around here all we're hearing is rifle shots because

next saturday our rifle season opens up which means our grouse season closes down i've already

got a plan i'm heading out of town on the 16th or the 17th i'm going down south i'll tell you all about

that next week.

But anyway, shout out to Craig, Matt, Ryan, and Dave.

And the reason I do, I don't do this very often,

and because this thing doesn't happen very often.

I'm in South Dakota a couple weeks ago.

Driving southbound on a gravel road,

and here comes the truck northbound on the gravel road, and we kind of make sure there's enough room for both of us, and then all of a sudden there's an arm hanging out the window,

and I'm thinking, you know what that looks like to me? That looks like somebody saying,

I lost a dog, have you seen a dog? It was that kind of a, you know, like, ooh, ooh, kind of an arm raise. Anyway, that was Craig. And I backed up, he backed up, we got window to window. And he says, hey, Ron. He says, is the dog that wouldn't die in the back of that truck? And I said, it is, as a matter of fact. And so we pulled off to the northbound side, tailgated, tailgated, sat there and met some new friends. That's what I love about the bird hunting world, right? It's not like anything else. So anyway, it was nice to be flagged down.

We killed a few minutes.

We were going to run into town to get something to eat, so we had plenty of time.

So my new friend's Craig, Matt, Ryan, and Dave from Pennsylvania.
