wanted me to do a full episode about MLMs or cults or anything like that I will do it and a couple people have already

DM to me saying that they want me to do that and then I put a

overwhelming yes so I'm doing this episode I found an amazing sub-reddit that

I'll be pulling from with the absolute absurdity of MLMs.

But first I kind of wanted to just get into what MLMs are in case you aren't familiar with them,

because I realize that not everyone goes

down insane black hole spirals of of binging anti-anilum content so for those people

I'm gonna I'm gonna give some background I'm gonna provide some

context so what is an MLM? MLM stands for a multi-level marketing so or sometimes people call it direct marketing as well but essentially what it is is a pyramid scheme allegedly it it is

it's a pyramid scheme right there is a small difference between the two and

That is basically a lot of pyramid schemes don't actually sell products right they're just like getting people to they're

recruiting people and recruiting people into like a fake company and they're not

actually selling anything that's a pyramid scheme um... MLMs are structured the

exact same way, but they're selling products allegedly.

They are like 99% of them are like wellness in the health and wellness industry, so a lot of them are selling supplements or

essential oils or protein powders or workout plans or whatever the case may be.

But they're structured the exact same in terms of you get recruited by someone and
