One of the things I really appreciate about our show, the Lurie Daniel Favoravors show, is that we tend to really stick to the news that I think matters the most. And even

when there is an opportunity to sort of slip into the salacious or titillate towards the titillating,

we tend to really focus on the news, on the factual, hard, fast news, the stories that are going

to impact your life.

And while I would love to have some opportunity to sort of slip more into the pop culture realm of things

and into, you know, the lighter side of things, it's often just an effort in futility.

Every time we think we're going to have an opportunity to talk about something silly or a little bit sexy,

it ends up being the same day that breaking news hits.

And because my show, the Lurie Daniel Favor show,

is the only two-hour show on the Monday through Friday Channel 126 network of Irving View.

I'm the only show that is a two-hour show.

So every other show is longer and they have more capacities to sort of delve into those things.

My show is all shot,

no chaser. But there are some stories that really tend to sort of sit in the zeitgeist

that may not necessarily feel like they have a direct connection to the facts and the issues

that are impacting your life, but in roundabout ways they kind of do. That is how I felt about this entire

story related to Jeffrey Epstein. And part of it is because Jeffrey Epstein and the story of his

trafficking of underage girls and the ways in which allegedly very wealthy billionaires and

millionaires and sort of the secret elite cabals have been sort of running circles through

Maga. It is sort of been a story that I haven't really seen a direct connection to the rest of us,

connection to those of us who aren't necessarily sort of swept up in the Maga fever of things.
