So I play words with friends. I play it with a myriad people from my life. And one of those people, my step sister, Jo Dean. So, you know, when you play words with friends, it's basically Scrabble, but it's easier or a little more lenient. You can just like try words and, you know, try a combination of letters until it says it's a word, you know, it's not quite Scrabble, but it's really fun.

And there's a little chat, you know, like in Zoom or anything else, you can, you know, be talking at the same time while you're playing. And I played the word labia. And she wrote in the chat, oh, labia. And in the chat, they censored labia.

Said like L star star star, I A. And then I go, oh, my God, they censored labia. And it censored in the chat. Then I tried vagina. Totally censored V star star, whatever star, INA. Then we tried testicles. I write testicles.

No problemo with testicles. Testicles is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of in the view of words with friends.

Look, I don't care. It doesn't hurt me. It's just more microaggressions, more evidence of how deeply embedded the patriarchy is in our society. I mean, they should call it certain words with friends.

I still got it. Maybe not. You know, it's just it's another indication that women are supposed to be ashamed of their equivalent body parts to men.

But for men, it's just a body part. For us, it's a dirty thing that we should be ashamed of and cover up. And we make it taboo.
