Jared, what are you up to these days? I'm feeling the pressure of having an open for Derek Bodner.

That's a that's a major ticket there. I'm honored to be the undercard.

Well, so you're still covering the Celtics. Of course, just tell me what you're doing real quick before we get started.

So yeah, I joined USA Today SMG about a month ago and I'm covering them for the Celtics with a new site called CelticsWire.

So CelticsWire.com, pretty easy. And we it's right now it's myself and we're building up a small staff over there.

But we're just trying to cover every story from every angle. And if you followed my work over at CelticsBlog

and I'm still with CLNS Media Network as well. But familiar with my work over there, I'm going to be doing a lot more film heavy stuff.

And if I just know focus stuff, it's kind of more of the niche that we're going for there.

But we also are very silly because you can't not be silly and cover basketball full time.

Yeah, yeah, really. So I guess the question of how good these guys were last year is of limited relevance.

I would say given that what is it like eight of their top 12 players are going to be new players this here?

That's right. Only four holdovers. At least the four holdovers were crucial components to their rotation.

It would be one thing if it was like four holdovers, but one of them is like some, you know, is Gerald Greene or Tyler Zeller.

But at least they've maintained some, you know, the most, I'd say the most important defender and probably the most important offensive player as far as running their system.

So they have some continuity from last year, but you can't draw too many conclusions from the track record they established last year.

So I guess I would have maybe due from a comparison here. And instead of just saying, okay, you know, who's going to get better?

Who's going to force me? We can kind of compare what they got from each position last year to what we expect them to get this year.

And I think the obvious place to start there is with Kyrie Irving and what Isaiah Thomas gave them last year.

Do you see that just in terms of like what he's going to do this year as an upgrade or a downgrade?

I would say like a diagonal downgrade. It's like it's I guess because Isaiah had an almost perfect offensive season last year.
