Well, I want to talk about restoring our broken city. It wouldn't seem a little weird to have

any other message today. I mean, you know, the place is full of smoke. People are still, you know,

not in their homes, lots of people still lost everything and we're in the midst of it and be kind

of like a offense in the room to preach on anything else would be sort of strange.

And I want to repeat this prophetic declaration because I feel like sometimes when we're in crisis

as a city or as a people or as a person, that one of the best things we can do is remember what

God said about us and remember that this crisis is not our destiny. How many, you know, all things

work together for good and the end. So if it's not good, it's not the end and I'd propose that

what's happening is not the end. And so I want to repeat a prophetic act that happens some time ago.

You, I know you've heard this story if you've been around very long, but Bill and I were in

Vacaville and we were at a prayer meeting for pastors and leaders. There's just maybe a hundred of us

and I think Graham Cook had called the meeting and we were just doing, it was very simple prayer

meeting. Someone would get up and share for two or three minutes and then we would pray into that
