I'm Cindy U and I'm joined by Katie Balls and James Forsy.

So today Downing Street is battling off the travel industry yet again because there's even more

confusion of coming on from the Amber Plus list. Katie, can you update us on the latest? We talked

last week about France, but somehow the story just won't end. Yes, this all relates to a COVID

meeting last week about travel restrictions and there is talk of a new category so there's been Amber Plus

and there could be an Amber Watch list and I think this hasn't gone as intended but I get

the impression from those involved that they thought this might make things simpler and the

idea being that when you're booking a holiday,

it could be on the amber list, it could be on the green list.

Perhaps you access the amber list at some point,

but you'd be able to see ultimately whether or not it was likely to move to something very drastic,

like red, amber plus by which you can't skip quarantine even if you're double jabbed

because they're placed on an amber watch list and that would probably indicate that you say

you're on holiday in Greece and Greece gets moved to Amber Watch list. Maybe you have a week or two

but to know not to book too far in advance, plan to you foreign advance. But it's not been read as a simpler option.

Instead, it's been read as another category

in the increasingly confusing and complicated world of foreign travel.

And it's a funny one because I think we're seeing cabinet divisions over it,

but also seeing Tory back benches speaking out.

And I think it still comes back to an issue which I don't think has been resolved,
