I'm here today with Boris Johnson, the mayor of London and author of the new book The Churchill Factor.

Thank you so much.

So you recently announced that you'll run for Parliament next year,

but you also plan to see out your term as mayor.

You write books and a newspaper column, you have a family. So how do you

balance all of those roles?

I balance them very, very effectively on a bicycle which amaze me with incredible speed and comfort from my various appointments, from one

appointment to the next.

And I find that the trick is always make sure that you do whatever exercise you're proposing to do in the day in the morning

So that the day can only get better from there on in so I tend to go for a very for a run down the canal in the morning and

then I feel fine. But how do you prioritize all of your different responsibilities?

I have a doctrine of totally engage. I have a very good team obviously. I have a wonderful

team here in City Hall and my strategy is to try and get as much as I possibly can out of everybody here in City Hall and they do a wonderful job.

The position of London Mayor is a relatively new one with some limitations.
