An eagerly anticipated report by British MPs has found that the former Prime Minister,

Boris Johnson, deliberately lied to Parliament over gatherings at his official residence during

coronavirus lockdowns. It's a dramatic fall for a man who only a year ago was leading Britain

after having successfully engineered Brexit and won a landslide victory.

A campaign group which represents families bereaved by Covid said that the report had shown

how Mr Johnson had, quote, broken his own rules so he could have a party and a laugh,

as families were saying goodbye to loved ones over Zoom.

Last week Mr Johnson resigned as an MP calling the committee investigating him a kangaroo court.

It has now hit back, saying he has impugned its work and undermined the democratic process.

So a damning and unprecedented report in the way it's had managed a former Prime Minister over his conduct.

I don't think that any former Prime Minister or Prime Minister or senior minister has been on

the receiving end of such an utterly damning report because although it's quite long, it's a

30,000 words, like a sort of small novel or something, I mean essentially it's quite simple.
