| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to rock and roll politics, the weekly podcast with me, Steve Richards. |
| 0:21.3 | Thank you very much indeed for tuning in. |
| 0:24.2 | And we've got a lot to get through in our time together because, well, a lot has happened. |
| 0:29.9 | And we've got loads more of your brilliant questions. |
| 0:33.2 | Before all of that, my reflections on some of the bizarre things going on, thank you those who |
| 0:40.0 | attended the show at Greenwich Theatre on Saturday. It was great. First time the theatre had reopened |
| 0:48.3 | for a live show with an audience, socially distance audience, for I think it was six months. So it was kind of |
| 0:55.9 | great sense of excitement really. Nothing to do with me, just that the thing was opening. And it was |

| 1:25.9 | the rope tackle art centre in Shoreham, which is one of my |
| 1:29.7 | favourite smaller venues and the Greenwich Theatre. They've all done incredible work to make sure |
| 1:37.2 | it's to use the term COVID safe. The social distancing was very cleverly regulated. |
| 1:44.9 | Masks were warm, which of course is weird for the audience and for me looking out into, |
| 1:50.4 | I got an email from someone I've known since I was one month old and he said I was putting my hand. |
| 1:55.4 | I had no idea he was in the audience, didn't recognize him with a mask on anyway. |
| 1:59.8 | It's all weird, but they really went |
| 2:02.6 | out of their way to make everything safe. And so I hope people who did go felt vindicated by going |
| 2:10.3 | and say, forget about me and what I did. Although it was great. For those of you who weren't there |
| 2:15.3 | and who didn't listen to the live streaming from King's Place, |
