Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio as we hurtle towards the weekend, which might prove to be as eventful as this entire week has been.

I'm not sure I can keep up with it all.

If the stories we're hearing are right, there are yet more revelations to emerge before Monday, which could yet lead to the departure of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

This morning, there is yet more news of yet another party, this time on the eve of the funeral of Prince Philip

last year, which the Queen had to attend alone. You'll remember the famous picture of her

sitting all alone in the chapel. There was a DJ, dancing, drinking, and even a visit to the

supermarket to stock up on more wine with a suitcase.

Has there been a single week in the premiership of Boris Johnson that hasn't included a party?

Lockdown or not, it seems to me that they were having a shindig pretty much every single Friday.

Presumably, the Prime Minister is still in hiding, choosing to self-isolate rather than face the music.

At least this time he wasn't actually at the knees up, but the atmosphere inside the headquarters of our government is clearly

alcohol-fueled and rules-free. It explains a lot about the policies they've been making,

doesn't it? Meanwhile, over the road in Parliament, it would appear that the Labour Party

has its own problems. Yesterday, MI5 issued an unusual security alert, warning that a Chinese agent

had infiltrated Westminster, including

donating over £650,000 to Labour MP Barry Gardner and the Labour Party.
