Summary

President Biden heads to Mexico City this week for two days of meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. 1:12.6	Well, welcome, welcome. So Ador you and Tam are both in Mexico City right now both covering the
1:18.6	North American leader summit. That's a meeting I should explain between President Biden, Canada's
1:22.7	Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau and Mexico's president Andres Manuel Lopez Oprador. And it comes
1:27.8	after Biden visited the US Mexico border over the weekend. It was his first trip to the southern
1:33.0	border since he entered the White House. And Tam, this trip came two years into Biden's presidency.
1:40.1	And it was at a moment when I think it is worth pointing out. We have seen record numbers of
1:45.0	migrants trying to enter the United States. So tell us what did the president see? What did he do
1:49.8	when he went to the border? I would also argue he was probably trying to get out ahead of Republican
1:56.1	oversight in the House where they are no doubt planning to hold hearings about immigration policy
