Hello everybody, I'm Lou Dobbs and welcome to the Great America Show.

Great to have you with us and I don't know why Elon Musk, the world's richest man,

has decided in the last few months to step into the public arena.

But I, for one, am absolutely delighted that he's done so.

I think most of us are inherently suspicious of American oligarchs.

That's what they are, all of these billionaires, billionaires who occasionally spend what to

most of us would be vast fortunes to simply improve their PR image or to push a political

agenda and would be right most of the time.

But then there is this Elon Musk, who's now a champion of free speech and fair play.

He's already being lionized as a brilliant entrepreneur and businessman as he should.

He's also almost single-handedly awakened the almost more of a NASA space agency and

single-handedly built rockets to take our astronauts up to the space station rather than

for the United States to depend on hiring rides on Russian rockets.

And in the wink of the horrible tragedy in that Texas school this week must ask one question,

why do we give these killers the publicity they crave?
