so I'm taking a quick look at all the major news channels in the way they're

hand-dreamt handling the Trump story

today

Trump says he expects to be arrested tomorrow calls for protests as CNN that

that sort of tone everywhere with very little discussion of what he's actually

being charged with

a lot of can you believe he's calling for protests that sounds a lot like what he

said on January 6th that whole thing but not a lot on how good's the case here

because we get into that most people again including the freaking New York time say

it's a stretch

combination of clickbait and just whipping up conflict for ratings and attention

and fundraising on both sides of the aisle we are in a time

where all of the adult virtues that we've all decided are important for running a

country running our lives running a family et cetera are just utterly being

flushed down the toilet they're not useful you know calm wisdom measured speech

compromise understanding the other side all of those good virtues run counter to

a lot of the imperatives of you know fundraising and clickbait it's it's
